Gavin Ward spent over two decades at the highest levels of motorsport — from Red Bull Racing's F1 program, where he was part of four consecutive World Championship seasons and 50+ race wins, to Team Penske in IndyCar, where he guided Josef Newgarden to the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series championship. Most recently he served as Team Principal at Arrow McLaren.
Outside the garage, Gavin sits on the board of Racing For Mental Health, and advocates publicly for those living with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders — a condition he lives with himself.
Now applying that same thinking to Gavin Ward Innovations LLC — spanning consulting, consumer products, and open-source 3D design. Different lanes, same standard.
"Twenty years in motorsport — F1 with Red Bull, an IndyCar championship with Penske, Team Principal at Arrow McLaren, and now Special Advisor with Rahal. But I'm on a mission to prove that performing at the highest level doesn't mean giving up your health or neglecting your family. The sport gave me everything, and I want to give some of that back."
